What is Barn Hunt?
Barn hunt originated with the critter catching dogs on farm like terriers. Dogs and handlers would work together to catch the destructive rats through the mazes of hay bales and farm equipment. Modern barn hunt rats get the luxury of a well protected and ventilated tube where the dogs cant reach them, but the maze the dogs must search through remains the same. As any Siberian owner with the mole hunting trenches dug through the petunias, this breed has a talent for finding hidden varmints!
